Service Description

Get ready to experience Southeast Alaska in a way you never imagined. Alaska is beautiful anytime, but early spring in Southeast Alaska is a special time. Imagine the sea coming alive as bubble-feeding humpback whales return from their winter grounds to their spring-feeding grounds. Herring are thick in the waters this time of year, and the whales follow them to take advantage of the abundant food the waters provide the immense mammals. Bald eagles, sea otters, and sea lions also follow where the food goes, so the wildlife photography opportunities on this trip are incredible. The scenery is incredible as well. Sitting at the edge of Mount Edgecumbe (a volcanic mountain), the pristine waters, evergreen forest, and jagged coastlines are the perfect backdrop to capture bucket list pictures without the crowds you’ll find elsewhere in Alaska.
