Beautiful Botswana - Second Session

Since the first time I went to Botswana, I fell in love with the country. The people there are remarkable, the hospitality is next level, and, of course, the wildlife is unparalleled. That’s why I am so excited about this trip and this itinerary. In a nutshell, we’ll see a bunch of Botswana and experience it in an immersive way. If you’ve ever traveled with me before, you know that I am a big fan of really leaning into a location by learning about its culture, learning some of its language, and making lifelong friends with our fellow travelers and the people who help us experience locations in such a remarkable way. Nice, memorable photos and photo subjects are a given on my excursions, but when you travel with me, I think you’ll agree that you will come home with so much more. Highlights of this trip include: - Elephants and hippos as you photograph them from mere feet away in a gimbal-equipped boat that’s made specially for photography; - Photograph wildlife from safari vehicles that get you close to a variety of species; - The dark-maned lions of the Kalahari desert; - The Kalahari desert - the second-largest game reserve in the world; - The legendary Okavango Delta - the largest inland river delta on the planet; - The Chobe River and Chobe National Park - the most biologically diverse region of Botswana; - Big cats, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs; - Photographing wildlife from a sunken blind that’s eye level with a waterhole; - Incredible bird diversity; - Abundant plains game species like impala, cape buffalo, wildebeest, lechwe, and scores of other species; - Bush plane flights between each location; - Top-notch lodging at each location; - This trip is all-inclusive. You just need to get to and from Johannesburg, South Africa, and I’ll take over from there; - This trip is scheduled for a biologically active time of the year; - We’ll be in locations that are uncrowded and still wild; - You’ll be with a small group of like-minded folks; - You’ll receive photo instructions that will make you a better photographer; - You’ll have a lot of fun.
