Service Description

Join us for an incredible, all-inclusive excursion into the heart of the southern New Mexico deserts and wetlands.    On this excursion, we’ll explore the rugged deserts, white gypsum sand dunes, riparian wetlands, and mysterious places that make the southern New Mexico desert so special. Imagine immense flocks of sandhill cranes and geese flying overhead and being so close to them that you can see the water dripping from their beaks.  Aside from cranes and geese, flocks of ducks are common, as are mule deer, javelina, desert songbirds, and sometimes even bobcats, coyotes, and elk.  The amount of wildlife here is astounding. In addition to the wildlife, we’ll travel to one of the nation’s newest national parks - White Sands.  Here, we’ll hike into the white sand dunes, photograph the pastel colors of sunrise and sunset, and create austere images worthy of hanging on your wall. In all, this trip is an immersive glimpse into a land full of photographic opportunities.  We’ll accomplish our goals through safari-style game drives, short hikes, and visits to well-researched locations that’ll give you the best opportunities to photograph wildlife up close and in action. This adventure is six (6) days and five (5) nights in a beautiful and historic area of the country. The workshop (like most of my others) is priced so that you get your own room. Oh, yeah. What will this all cost? Once you get to and from Albuquerque, the price is $4,495, all-inclusive. So everything is included?  Yep!  Meals, lodging, permits, and transportation are included in the price.  All you have to do is get yourself to and from Albuquerque (ABQ).
