The thing I love about Botswana is that it is wild. Imagine sleeping in a luxury tent under the wild African skies while you hear all the animals of the bush go about their business at night. Then imagine cruising in the back of a safari buggy as antelopes, lions, elephants, and scores of other animals stand mere feet away. At the same time, you take some truly memorable images. This is Wild Botswana. On this excursion, we'll stay in glamorous lodging and eat fantastic meals from our Botswanan hosts. We'll get an intimate view of elephants, big cats, jackals, hyenas, warthogs, and scores and scores of bird species. We'll see the sunset and the stars rise over ancient baobab trees that have stood here for millennia. This is Botswana at its best. Highlights of this trip include: - Photograph wildlife from safari vehicles that get you close to a variety of species; - Photograph wildlife from mere feet away in a specially made ground hide: - Big cats, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs; - Incredible bird diversity; - Abundant plains game species like impala, cape buffalo, wildebeest, lechwe, and scores of other species; - Top-notch lodging at each location; - This trip is all-inclusive. You just need to get to and from Johannesburg, South Africa, and I'll take over from there; - This trip is scheduled for a biologically active time of the year; - We'll be in locations that are uncrowded and still wild; - You'll be with a small group of like-minded folks; - You'll receive photo instructions that will make you a better photographer; - You'll have a lot of fun.
