The Eclipse

Service Description

The next total eclipse to hit the United States is coming to Hackberry Farm in Dodd City, Texas and we're hosting an eclipse party! If you are a photographer looking for instructions on photographing the eclipse and need some post-processing strategies, this is the place for you.  Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime event that will happen in our own backyard! To keep our event small and for the maximum learning experience, we are limiting this workshop to twenty (20) people. Here's what's the workshop: * Photography instruction * Breakfast * Post-processing workshop * Location fees Here's what's NOT included: *     Camera equipment *     Transportation to and from the workshop What you'll need: DSLR or Mirrorless Camera Solar filter (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?q=solar%20filter&sts=ma) Wide angle lens (i.e. 16-35mm) Short telephoto (70-200mm) Sturdy Tripod(s) Laptop with Lightroom preloaded (for post-processing workshop) Price: $300 per person Registration Instructions and Cancellation Policy A 50% deposit of the total cost is required to reserve a spot for this workshop by January 15, 2024.  The remainder of the payment is due before March 1, 2024.  If booking within 30 days of the workshop's start, the trip's total cost is required to make a reservation. For payments, we accept Paypal, Venmo, and credit cards. If final payments are not received within 30 days of the start of the workshop, we are allowed to consider your reservation canceled and can offer that spot to someone else. If you do cancel, we require a written notice in which cancellation fees in the following amounts will apply: * If canceled within 31 days or more prior to the start of the workshop, the total cost of the deposit plus a $50 per person administrative fee.

 * If canceled within 30 days prior to departure - the total cost of the trip fee. No partial refunds will be made for any reason for parts of the workshop that are not used by the client, itinerary changes, or any unforeseen circumstances.  IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT OR 100% CLOUDY WEATHER, WE'LL ISSUE A FULL REFUND (minus the processing fee). Hackberry Farm reserves the right to cancel a trip for any cause and is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred during the trip such as medical expenses, clothing, equipment of any kind, etc.  If Hackberry Farm does cancel the trip, we will offer a full refund.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel up to 48 hours before the time of the camp to receive a full refund minus a 5% processing fee.
