Service Description

Wild Horses of the West Wild horses are the ultimate symbol of freedom. While horses are native to North America, they went extinct on the continent 12,000 years ago until the Spanish brought them back 500 years ago. Now across the west, groups of these wild equines still exist and roam the rangelands beneath sweeping skies. In the Wild Horses of the West nature photography workshop, we’ll go in search of these beautiful mammals and immerse ourselves in the natural wonders of western Nevada and eastern California. Horses aren’t the only thing on the docket, however. While we are in the area, prepare for some incredible landscape photography opportunities as we travel to nearby Mono Lake and other sites along the eastern Sierra Nevada Range. We’re planning this trip during the green season, when we hope to see stallions battle for dominance, freshly foaled babies, and horses in overall good condition due to the superior range conditions.
